Is your beef "grass fed"?

Yes! Our cattle spend their lives grazing on the lush pastures of our family farm. We have hundreds of acres of rolling hills and valleys that provide plenty of fresh grass throughout the growing season.

During the winter months, we feed hay that we cut and bale right here on the farm. We even test our hay for quality and nutritional value to ensure our cattle receive the nutrition they need year-round.

In addition to grass and hay, our cattle receive a small amount of supplemental grain to provide balanced nutrition and support healthy growth. This approach allows us to raise healthy animals while producing flavorful, high-quality beef for your family.

In Summary

When you purchase beef from Mammoth Valley, you're supporting a local family farm that is committed to responsible animal care, sustainable farming practices, and producing high-quality beef. Our cattle are raised on pasture, cared for using industry-leading animal welfare standards, and processed through a USDA-inspected facility focused on humane handling. From the grass in our fields to the beef on your table, we take pride in every step of the process so you can feel confident about feeding our beef to your family.
